Troubleshooting Step 1: Close Setup.exe process
- Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete key on your keyboard at the same time to open Task Manager.
- Right-click the exe process and select End Task.
- Close Task Manager.
- Try installing QuickBooks again.
- Press Windows + R key on your keyboard to open Run
- Type %TEMP% in the run box and hit Enter.
- Open the Temp folder and locate the folder Prx_usXXrX or
- Now open the folder with the name of Third Party and click ABS.
- Now Double click ABSPDF412Setup file and start the installation process.
- Once the installation is completed, open QuickBooks and register your license.
- Download and install an antivirus and antimalware software on windows.
- If you already have these applications installed then make sure to update them with the latest updates
